Meet Kathy & Michael Proctor
The Proctors have owned and operated Proctor Farm for 20+ years.
Kathy is the Wedding Coordinator and Director of Proctor Farm. She will guide you through the wedding planning process from start to finish, providing timelines, advice, and a peace of mind.
Michael is the Sound Engineer, Designer, and creative force behind the spaces you’ll see at Proctor Farm.
At First — concerts & music festivals
Kathy & Michael, tied in to the professional music scene, originally built a concert venue on the property, now called the Saloon. With a professional sound system and space, they hosted music concerts for Grammy Award winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, including members of the Marshall Tucker band, members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and members of the Charlie Daniel’s band.
Then — a private wedding venue
When friends & family asked the Proctors to host weddings, they built an indoor chapel wrapped in 8 beautiful 19th-century, stained-glass windows and a permanent outdoor chapel of stacked stone, timbers, stained-glass, antique crystal chandelier, and church pews. Then the horse-barn was converted into the Saloon with a courtyard of twinkling lights separating it from the Banquet Hall.
