About Proctor Farm

About 20 years ago, the Proctors were living on a beautiful piece of land in Rome, Georgia. They decided to build a unique building on the property to host concerts: the barn, which we now call the Saloon! Friends, family, and more would visit and picture themselves getting married there. So, the Proctors happily obliged. At that point, the charm of Proctor Farm started spreading by word of mouth, and over time, grew into what we know today!

When you visit, make sure to see the Proctor’s favorite place on the property: the Indoor Chapel. In Kathy’s words, “You feel such a peace when you’re inside the chapel. You just feel the presence of The Lord in there.”

Meet the Proctors

The Proctors have owned and operated Proctor Farm for 20 years. Kathy is your Wedding Coordinator and the Director of Proctor Farm. As soon as you book your wedding date, she will guide you through the wedding planning process from start to finish, providing not just timelines and advice, but also peace of mind.

Michael is your Sound Engineer as well as the Designer and creative force behind the spaces you’ll see at Proctor Farm. He puts a lot of love into every piece of the property, which includes the technology used on your wedding day.

My wife and I got married at Proctor Farm in 2014, and we could not have been more pleased. Kathy and Michael are wonderful people. They are truly dedicated to making every wedding special. Not only are they all-in for your wedding, they are all-in for life! We come back every year to recreate a few photos from our wedding day, they had us over for New Year’s Eve to shoot the cannon, and we even had our daughter’s gender reveal party there. It isn’t just a business to them, it is a passion and they are the definition of Faith driven.
